What does SPS do?

Domestic or commercial, interior or exterior. Thorough, precise preparation and a meticulous eye for detail, so what you are left with is a flawless finish.

Painting and decorating

Full interiors and exteriors, domestic and commercial. Walls, ceilings, woodwork, stairwells and everything in between.
Airless spraying

Ceilings, walls, metalwork, steels, cladding and shopfronts. Ideal for newly plastered houses, extensions and rooms - a flat, even finish across large areas in a fraction of the time a brush would take.
UPVC and exterior spraying

Windows, doors, cladding, fascias, garage doors and shutters resprayed in any colour. Far cheaper than replacing them.
Taping, jointing and board repairs

New plasterboard taped, jointed and sanded ready for paint, no skim needed. Knocks and cracks cut out and made good first.

Recent work

Homes one week, a shop fit-out the next. All sent in from site over the last couple of years.

Behind SPS

Aaron Shaw has been painting and decorating for over 20 years. He started Shaw's Painting & Spraying to do one thing: turn up when he says he will and leave a finish worth paying for. That is as true on a bathroom in Ely as it is on a shopfront in Manchester.

Most decorators do homes or they do commercial. Aaron does both. On the commercial side that means store fit-outs for national retailers, working to a main contractor's programme, often over a weekend so the store can trade on the Monday - full ceilings and steelwork sprayed, shopfronts and entrances finished, plasterboard taped and jointed ready for paint.

On the domestic side it means the same kit and the same site standards turning up at a house. Airless spray equipment for a flat, even finish, proper masking rather than a quick wipe round, and UPVC, doors and cladding resprayed in any colour instead of being replaced.

Every job is quoted properly before it starts, dust sheets and masking go down before a tin gets opened, and the place is left clean at the end of each day.
